“Set your goals high, and don’t stop till you get there.”
-Bo Jackson

I think this is a very good quote. Because it’s basically telling you, you should have high goals and high expectations for yourself. And don’t stop thinking about that goal until you accomplish it. Then your next goal should be higher than your previous goal. Don't stop believing in yourself because you can accomplish your goal no matter how high they are, all you need to do is work hard for it.

“The mind is the limit. As long as the mind can envision the fact that you can do something, you can do it- as long as you really believe 100 percent.”
-Arnold Schwarzenegger

What I think this quote means is that when you’re trying to accomplish a goal you must think that you can accomplish that goal. Because if you don’t believe that you can do something then you won’t be able to do something. You have to believe in yourself.

Student Success Statement
“You can’t put a limit on anything. The more you dream, the farther you get.”
-Michael Phelps

What I think this quote is saying is that you can’t put a limit on your goals/dreams because even if you've accomplished your dream you still have to work hard in order to be the best you can. But the more you dream about your goal the farther you’ll get in accomplishing it.

Student Success Statement
“Try a little harder to be a little better.”
-Gordon B. Hinckley

What this quote means is that in order to be the best at something, first you must put in a lot of work. Because you can’t be the best at something if you don’t put any work into it.  So in the end what’ll help you accomplish your goals is hard work. And without hard work you won't accomplish anything.

“If you want to achieve excellence, you can get there today. As of this second, quit doing less-than-excellent work.”
-Thomas J. Watson

What Thomas J. Watson is basically saying is that you can achieve excellence in a short amount of time. But in order to achieve excellence in a day you have to stop putting in only mediocre work and instead work your hardest. Do this and you’ll achieve excellence in a short time, maybe even a day.

“It’s not the will to win, but the will to prepare to win that makes the difference.”
-Paul Bear Bryant
I think this is a good quote because winning is not everything. To me you should be proud that all your training has paid off and that’s what helped you win. Because if it weren't for the training that you've done you would've lost.

“Righteous community unity starts with one upright soul, whether it is a community of family members, students, neighbors, teammates, or business associates. Unity conquers worthy pursuits more quickly and with less effort than individual effort alone.”
-Mr. Haymore

What I think this quite means is that it is always better to work as a team than to work alone. Working as a team will help you finish your goal faster and it’ll also take less effort than you would by yourself. It doesn’t matter who you work with because you’ll still do a better and faster job than by yourself.
