Medical Illustrator

Duties and Responsibilities
Medical Illustrators work only in the medical field. They draw all the medical pictures in textbooks, journals, magazines, and films. They draw anything from microscopic germs to body parts. Some medical illustrators also use modeling skills to make artificial body parts.

Salary: $35,000- $50,000

Education
In order to become a medical illustrator you should major in art and minor in science. A majority of medical illustrators have a master’s degree. You also need to be certified in order to work as a medical illustrator.

Do you think you would like to be one?

I wouldn’t want to be a medical illustrator because I suck at drawing.
