Occupational Therapists

Duties and Responsibilities
Occupational therapists help patients who are mentally, emotionally, or physically disabled. They help them by helping them regain the ability to perform everyday tasks. They work in a team and observe, help, and monitor a patient’s progress. They may design special equipment to help a patient with their therapy. But most of all they teach patients how to adjust their life according to their disability.

Average Salary: $26,000-$45,000

Educational Requirements
In order to become an occupational therapists you take the most challenging high school courses in math, science, and English. You need bachelors or a master’s degree and clinical experience to become certified.

Would you like to be one?
I wouldn’t like to be an occupational therapist. It’s not the type of work that I’ll be looking for.
