Duties and Responsibilities
A sports medicine technician (also known as assistant
athletic trainers), work in allied health settings providing rehabilitation and
care to injured athletes. While some sports medicine technicians work with professional
athletes or sports teams, most find work in a variety of other settings,
including school athletic programs, corporate office fitness programs, military
academies, and hospitals
Salary: $42,000
Educational
Requirements
in order to work as a sports medicine technician, a bachelor’s
degree in exercise science, athletic training, physical education, or a relatable
field. In order to be certified you must pass an exam.
